"Last year, I decided to make the investment for an SAT Preparation class. Sat SAT preparation begins with an interest in overcoming those obstacles which may prevent you from doing your best on the day of the SAT exam. We also offer classes that help you prep for themath section and writing section of the SAT. If you discover that you have a serious weakness in the content areas of the test, make a commitment to yourself to find some way to supplement your SAT preparation; get a tutor, get a software program, talk to your teachers, spend extra time and effort to fill those gaps. Unfortunately, college entrance is more challenging now than ever. The SAT is an important test because many colleges use it, in part, in the admissions process. As a result, they were more likely to get into college, and into more selective colleges. "But this study shows that students from advantaged families still have better opportunities to reach college, and access to test preparation tools is one reason. Classes This study examined which students were most likely to use four types of these services: private classes, such as those offered for a fee by Princeton Review and Kaplan; special high school classes; private tutors; and test books, software programs or videos. Classes can range between $100 and $1,000, depending on things like how extensive the courses are and who's administering them; financial aid is also available. Private classes were the most effective form of test preparation, and students who took them had an average increase in SAT score of 60 points. But the findings were particularly strong for the two types of preparation that did the most to boost scores -- private classes and tutoring. These classes are taught by teachers from local high schools with experience in SAT Preparation. Early registration guarantees your spot and allows us to open more classes if necessary.
